Austin Stroupe, having just turned 21 this highly touted amateur prodigy hails from Lincolnton, NC. Austin was one of the most highly touted amateurs from the class of 2007. With several top overall finishes and Championship contention early in his Pro career including podium finishes in the first four 250MX Nationals of 2008 before injuries plagued him and prevented him from reaching his goals. Austin’s true potential will shine in 2012 as he enters the premier class healthy and confident in his equipment. Joining the newly formed Star Valli Yamaha team, plus adding the excitement of riding a factory backed Yamaha YZ450F motorcycle has him amped up to achieve his dreams. He is set to tackle the premier series in the world, continuing where he left off in 2011 in podium contention.
